ReplyDeleteThe picture of Jack Page with his Gordon standing point in the old FT (Hunt contest) is one of my favorites. Notice the dog standing in the 1st picture while Page shoots, and how Jack never moves and the Gordon retrieves the Pheasent to him as he bends down. Page and Ryman dominated these hunt contests, when birds actually had to be shot and retrieved to hand. Great pictures sir.
