Gordons for postage..
Here's something a little offbeat that should be of interest to Gordonites.....
A stamp from Tanzania with a beautiful headshot of a Gordon Setter. Why or how this came about, and the signifigance of Gordons to Tanzania is unknown to me, but, there it is for all to see.
I don't have dog stamps but I do collect stamps of my favorite game bird. No snipe has ever been used on a U.S. postage stamp but in 1996 the state of Oregon used one on their non-resident waterfowl stamp. The rest of the stamps in my collection are either international postage or conservation stamps.
Our "Mission Statement"... if we have to have one...
Just the useless, and idle ramblings of a lifelong Field Setter lover. We may be right, we may be wrong, but, we're unshakable in our beliefs about, and our dedication to, our beloved Setters...
First and foremost, you need to join Google. Since this site is hosted by Google, only members can post.... It's easy to do, and best of all, it's free. Just go to the link and follow the instructions...
Include your name, e-mail address, and a little bit about yourself and your interest in the Gordon Setter, or gundogs in general... I'll send an invitation. Just follow the subsequent directions, and you'll be in!
